New players playing Minecraft are most interested in survival in survival mode! A day in Minecraft lasts 20 minutes, that is: 10 minutes in the day and 10 minutes in the moonlight. As you enter Survival Mode, you will have the ability to skip the night through sleep, and you will be better protected and armed in the face of night threats. What should I do first in Minecraft survival mode?

Minecraft survival mode

Our first task is to hit the tree. We need wood to make handmade tables and our first tools. You can do most of the tasks in Minecraft with your bare hands, but it takes a long time. The first night arrived much faster than you expected. Minecraft is ten minutes in the day and night. Ten minutes is faster than you think, and you don't want to indulge in logging so that you will never look around for shelter from the mobs that appear at night.

Once you find the tree, start crying for them with fists and collect log blocks, collect about a dozen logs to get started. Record the log, press "E" to bring up your inventory, and place the log in the small manual box next to the avatar. Your "personal" handmade box is limited to 2 × 2 squares and only allows you to make the simplest items. You need to place the logs on the craft box on the inventory screen and click on the small box next to the craft space to create the board. Not all items in Minecraft can be stacked, but most items can be stacked.

find food

After converting the logs to wood, continue with the operation, take four pieces of wood and fill the smaller handmade space to create a handmade table, and drag the craft form to the quick access bar. You cannot use the items in your inventory, they must be in the quick access bar. Handmade tables are one of the most basic and critical tools in Minecraft. It unlocks most of the initial tools and paves the way for you to explore how to use them to get materials for more advanced tools.

Give the Shelter

The craft table has a 3 × 3 grid. This opens up a whole new world of hand tools and items that are not in the simple 2 × 2 grid in the inventory menu. First we need to turn some wooden blocks into sticks, because we need to use sticks as tools. Two blocks stacked on top of each other will produce four sticks. After making the stick, it's time to make the first simple tool with sticks and blocks.

The tools greatly speed up your work. Swords cause damage to animals and enemies, but they do not control the blocks very well, so save them for actual combat. The shovel makes the work of dirt, sand, gravel, clay and snow short. Axe is used to chop firewood, pickaxe is best suited for axes and shovel struggling stones and other heavy objects. Using the right tools to get the job done not only speeds up your work, it also protects your tools. When you use tools for unexpected tasks, they wear faster.

Let There Be Light

As the game progresses and you start digging, you can start using the same recipe to create high-quality materials tools. Wood is the softest and will wear quickly. Stone is always available, making work faster and more durable. Iron is better than stone, and when you eventually mine deep enough, you will find diamonds that can be used to make very durable weapons, tools, and armor.

Now that we have the tools, we have two urgent tasks. The most important task is to find shelter. The place where the game starts is called your "build point". The closer you build your first shelter to the beginning of the game, the better. If you die during your first survival experience, you will immediately lay eggs near the shelter. If you race on the map before settling, eventually you will spawn away from the comfort of your house.

The most reliable way to get asylum immediately is to look for a hill or a slight elevation and then dig into the hill with a pick. One of the golden rules of exploration in Minecraft: Don't dig straight or dig up! Although this is sometimes required, in most cases this is undoubtedly a sure way to accidentally fall into a deep hole or cause the head to collapse. It is best to always dig at an angle.

Punch Trees

If you encounter pigs, cows, chickens or other unquestionable creatures while searching for the location of the base, be sure to punch them with a freshly made wooden sword or two and collect food while exploring. Lay down a handmade table in your new Spartan home and make a stove out of some of the pebbles. In Minecraft, the stove next to the table is second in importance, and it enables you to perform a variety of useful operations, such as smelting ore to extract metals and minerals and cooking food.

Before dark, we had two important tasks: creating a torch and blocking the tunnel to our shelter. The torch is one of the most important things in Minecraft. They let you see in the dark, they light up your shelter to prevent mobs from spawning here, and they are useful markers.

Hostile mobs can only spawn in low light conditions. Placing the torch in and around the base, in the mines dug out, the caves being explored, etc. are the only way to ensure that hostile creatures will not be generated there. The torch is made with sticks, coal or charcoal. Since we just started in survival mode and haven't done any serious mining yet, we need to make charcoal to light things before night falls.

The cooking process does take some time, so now is the perfect time to run outside the sanctuary and collect food: Remember, according to our bio guide, pigs, cows, and chickens all drop food. If you see any sheep, go ahead and harvest some of them. Although they don't give you food, they give you wool, which is valuable early in the game. Remember to recheck the stove every few minutes.

Take the time to put some flashlights in your shelter to illuminate it, then go outside and place flashlights on each side of the entrance. We also recommend that you take some dirt, build a simple obelisk structure on the hill above the door, and shoot some torches on it so you can see the shelter from a distance.

As you wait for the night to pass, grab some snacks to quench your hunger. Put cooked food in the quick access bar, then right-click to "eat" the food with the function, and then take some extra pebble from the dug out bunker to make a better tool. The wooden tools you just made may be severely worn because they are less durable. Use your crafting table and the same recipe we used to make wooden swords, picks and spades to make a stone version of the same tool.
