FL Studio is available in four editions, each with more features than the next. In terms of the features and functions of the core program, FL Studio Fruity Edition and Producer Edition are actually only two versions. All other "versions" are a collection of Producer Edition and other plugins. What are the different versions of FL Studio?
FL Studio Fruit Edition: For those who need to sort piano rolls and pattern clips in a playlist but don't need audio clips, recordings, Slicex or Edison.FL Studio Producer Edition: Provides the highest level of functionality in FL Studio. It gives you access to all clip types in "Playlist", "Recording", "Auto Clip", "Slicex", "Edison".
FL Studio Signing Bundle: The signing bundle is a "bundle" that includes the Producer Edition + our collection of "signature" (most advanced) plugins. This is a cost-effective way to get you the best equipment. If you already have certain plugins in the Signature Bundle, the Image-Line store will automatically deduct these plugins from the upgrade price.
All FL Studio plugin packs: All plugin packs are a "bundle", including Producer Edition + all the plugins we currently sell. This is a practical economic method. If you already have certain plugins in the bundle, the Image-Line store will automatically deduct them from the upgrade price. The average discount on individual purchase prices is about 60%. However, this does not include all future plugins that we release. You will be able to update the kit at a lower cost.
When Fruity, Producer Edition or Signature Bundle "includes" a plugin, this refers to the native version of the plugin. All plugin packages contain native plugins as well as any VST or AU version. Check the feature comparison list on the FL Studio website for a detailed comparison of each edition and bundled items. You can upgrade from one version to the next at any time.
The FL Studio trial version is functionally equivalent to all FL Studio plug-in packages. If you are using trial mode, there is only one limitation-you can save projects, but you must purchase and unlock FL Studio before you can open them again. If you have used instruments or effects in items that you have n’t used in your purchased version, you ’ll also need to purchase these plug-ins. The project in this state will open, but the plugin will be replaced by a placeholder.
When "Try" is displayed after the plug-in name in the title bar of the Wrapper window, you can determine whether the plug-in is a trial version. All other features in the FL Studio trial are fully unlocked. It is equivalent to the signature package and all plugins. You can render .wav, .mp3 .ogg or .mid files before saving the trial project.
